The Roaring Borealis is a projection mapping work completed for 2High Festival 2015. I also showed An Argument in Parallel Incompleteness, a previously made interactive artwork/game/poetry piece at 2High Festival.
The Roaring Borealis is one of my signature kaleidoscopic projection mapping onto origami pieces. A similar theme is seen in my work Little Boxes for Luxlimun Festival.
The Roaring Borealis was also shown at The Depo in West End on the 9th of December. A brief video of that performance is seen below. This piece was set up to accompany a series of live bands, so the music heard in this video is not my own.
As it happens, I ended up being the poster girl for the 2Hihgh Festival. Here is the festival poster, with me on the cover posing in my wolf mask that I often wear to live VJ and art performances.
Bumping in
